The FINANCIAL — Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze attended the reception evening held at the residence of the German Ambassador to Georgia to mark the 25th anniversary of establishment of development cooperation between Georgia and Germany and on the occasion of the visit of Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Gerd Müller.
The development co-operation is one of the cornerstones of Georgian-German bilateral relations. Since 1992, Germany has allocated to Georgia over 800 mln euro in the form of financial and technical assistance, thus making a considerable contribution to the democratic and social-economic transformation of the country, according to MFA of Georgia.
Within the framework of his visit to Tbilisi, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Gerd Müller held meetings with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Minister of Education and Science Aleksandre Jejelava where the sides discussed issues relationg to the further development of co-operation.
