The FINANCIAL — On 13 February 2016, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze met Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Witold Waszczykowski, according to MFA of Georgia.
Discussions focused on preparations for the Warsaw Summit, Georgia’s integration with the Alliance and the implementation of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package. The sides spoke about the priorities of Georgia’s European integration process and the progress the country has achieved in this regard. Special attention was paid to the need to introduce visa-free travel to the EU countries. The situation in Georgia’s occupied regions across the occupation line was also discussed extensively.
Talking points also included the political situation and the ongoing reforms in Georgia, as well as the Prime Minister’s four-point governmental reform package. The sides spoke about the need to deepen trade-economic co-operation, the potential of further deepening business relations and the necessity of maintaining the dynamic of high-level visits.
