The FINANCIAL — According to Civil Georgia, Georgian Foreign Minister Eka Tkeshelashvili left for the Czech Republic on an official visit on October 27.
During the visit she is expected to meet with her Czech counterpart Karel Schwarzenberg, Chairperson of the Senate Přemysl Sobotka, Vice-Premier Alexandr Vondra and other officials, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
The Czech Republic will take over the EU presidency from France in January 2009.
