The FINANCIAL — On 8 June, 2015 Georgian participants at the Geneva International Discussions held a working meeting with the EU, UN and OSCE co-chairs of the Discussions.
The Georgian side was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Head of the Georgian Delegation to the Geneva International Discussions David Dondua, according to MFA Georgia.
The sides once again summed up the outcome of the 31st round of the Discussions, held on 17-18 March 2015, and discussed the issues pertaining to the working agenda of the upcoming 32nd round scheduled for 1 July 2015 in Geneva. The security and humanitarian situation on the Georgia’s occupied territories was brought to the attention of the co-chairs by the Georgian side.
The sides discussed the agenda of the 2nd Working Group of the Geneva International Discussions, dealing with the humanitarian issues. The necessity to respect the fundamental rights of internally displaced persons and refugees was emphasized.
The Georgian side once again stressed the importance of the Geneva International Discussions and reiterated readiness to continue constructive participation in the format.
