Germany to share experience on common rules and standards for ship inspection with Ukraine

The FINANCIAL — On 24–27 September, experts from Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure will visit the German city of Hamburg to learn about common rules and standards for ship inspection and survey organisations.

During the four-day visit, the Ukrainian experts will also discuss with their German counterparts relevant the activities of maritime administrations and the responsibilities of flag states with regard to the monitoring of recognised organisations.

The visit is being organised by the European Commission’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX), in cooperation with the Ship Safety Division of the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure.
