The FINANCIAL — Tbilisi is hosting the Spotlight for the fifth time this year.
This is the first Georgian marketing event, initiated by the Marketer.ge and aims to develop the people employed in the business sector in Georgia, enhance the experience of Georgian speakers and give them an opportunity to participate in the international events, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Giorgi Cherkezishvili, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, was the guest of the Spotlight Panel Discussion in 2017. The Deputy Minister discussed in details the opportunities that the Georgian market offers to the start-up business the role of the Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development in the development of the industry.
According to organizers of the event, the Spotlight offers the representatives of marketing industry the space and time for close communication, sharing experiences and exchanging ideas. According to their information, the event of 5 November is held in a different format since the educational and discussion parts have been added to the event. Consequently, if the Spotlight previously was only focused on the marketing and creative industry, this time the focus was on entrepreneurs and start-ups as well.
At this year’s Spotlight 26 speakers will stand before 450 attendees and share their business experiences. The meetings will be of a practical training format. The project is supported by TBC Bank Startuper project.
