The FINANCIAL — Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Giorgi Kobulia held a meeting with the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, Mercy Tembon and other representatives of the regional office of the organization.
Deputy Ministers of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava and Giorgi Cherkezishvili participated in the meeting as well. Ongoing and scheduled reforms in Georgia supported by the World Bank as well as Action Plan were the main topics of the conversation.
Improving the qualification of the public servants was one of the main topics of the conversation. The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development noted that in order to more efficiently use the assistance provided by the World Bank and other donor organizations, it is necessary to perfect the qualification of the people employed in the public sector.
