The FINANCIAL — The most modern pork production facility in the Caucasus region has opened in the village Akaurta, Bolnisi.
The opening ceremony was attended by Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. Vice Prime Minister together with Evgenia khokhlova General Director at ABD Georgia visited the facility where various kinds of meat products are produced, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
“This is a very important project and we welcome the opening of the most modern pork production facility in Georgia. The large Ukrainian holding invested about 6.5mln USD in the facility which is equipped with the most modern technologies. The products will be created without chemical compounds. The development of local entrepreneurship is one of our priorities and we are glad that the company also used cheap agro-credit of 600,000 USD. We think that this company will contribute to the development of local entrepreneurship and will become an example for many local enterprises” – Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
ABD Georgia, the largest pork production company was founded in 2013. The facility includes the largest complex in Georgia that was built in compliance with the modern European technologies and standards in the Village Akaurta. The company is included in Ukrainian agricultural holding ACD, who are the market leaders in Ukraine. The total investment of the facility amounts to 6.5mln USD which now employs about 250 people.
ABD Georgia presented under the name Delicia produces 30 types of sausages. The products are created without chemical compounds and are made with pork meat that is bred in the farm complex and their number exceeds 20, 000.
