The FINANCIAL — Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met Eurochambres President Richard Weber. Giorgi Kvirikashvili congratulated Richard Weber on his re-election as President of the Organization and wished him success in his activities.
The sides highlighted the ongoing successful co-operation between the Georgian Chamber of Trade and Industry and Eurochambres focusing on new areas of co-operation, according to MFA of Georgia.
The Georgian Foreign Minister spoke about the results of the second phase of the reform process ongoing in Georgia, including in the economic area. Special attention was paid to the need of reforming Georgia’s capital market and pension system.
The Eurochambres President noted the significant progress that has been achieved in terms of doing business in Georgia. He emphasized the need to increase the level of Georgia’s recognizability in European countries and offered his active support in this regard.
The sides outlined plans to further develop various areas of co-operation aimed at strengthening links between Georgian and European businessmen, as well as at implementing joint business and investment projects.
