The FINANCIAL — The GM Company Store officially opened today at the company’s global headquarters at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit.
The new store is part of a larger renovation project that includes significant updates to the public spaces in the Renaissance Center. In addition to the store, GM will add an immersive experience with interactive exhibits that will highlight innovation, technology and design across the company’s global brands, according to GM.
“We are excited to be able to bring the stories of our brands and our company to life by elevating the experience in our world headquarters for our employees and the public,” said Tim Mahoney, chief marketing officer of Global Chevrolet and leader of GM Global Marketing Operations. “The new GM Company Store allows us to offer merchandise from each of our U.S. brands celebrating our most iconic nameplates.”
