The FINANCIAL — Get involved in Go Green Week 2013, a five-day programme of inspiring free events, talks, activities and exhibitions at Aston University.
Highlights of Go Green Week, starting Monday 11 February, include an Eco-Marketplace – for food, fashion and accessories; wildlife walks with the RSPB, and photography and sculpture competitions. As Aston University said, there’s a comedy night; a Mardi-Gras pancake party, and film fans can take in a free screening of Peter Mettler's "Petropolis”, all at Aston’s Birmingham campus.
The week long programme organised by Aston’s Environment and Sustainability Team runs from Monday 11 to Friday 15 February, and is designed to showcase Aston’s commitment to the environment and sustainability. Go Green Week is a national initiative organised by the student campaigning group People and Planet.
