The FINANCIAL — Goodyear Tire & Rubber reported earnings for its third quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year, according to Nasdaq.
The company said its bottom line totaled $271 million, or $0.99 per share. This was higher than $242 million, or $0.87 per share, in last year’s third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.97 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 10.3% to $4.18 billion. This was down from $4.66 billion last year.
