The FINANCIAL — According to Vladimir Litvin, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the law of the land market will become the key issue to be considered at the ninth session of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to him, it is a very important issue, and it is necessary not only to debate but also conduct the public awareness efforts.
He forecasted that after passage of the law "On the land market" normative assessment of land areas will be greatly increased. In this regard, there are a number of questions regarding both the mechanisms of implementation of the land market, and influence of the land issue on formation of volume and value of agricultural production, and operation of the grain market, in particular.
Nikolai Prysiazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Sergei Tereshchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on agrarian policy and land relations, Victor Andrievsky, Director of the Institute of agricultural markets development, and experts of the World Bank and several law firms will be the speakers of the session.
