Heineken Q3 Consolidated Revenue Up 8%

The FINANCIAL — Dutch brewer Heineken NV on October 28 said its third-quarter consolidated revenue increased 8 percent to 5.509 billion euros, according to Nasdaq.

This was after a favourable currency impact of 41 million euros and despite a negative consolidation impact of 17 million euros, mainly from the EMPAQUE disposal completed on February 18.

Consolidated revenue increased 7.5 percent organically in the quarter, reflecting a total organic volume increase of 5.7 percent and revenue per hectolitre up 1.8 percent.

Consolidated beer volume grew 5.4 percent organically, with positive growth in Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific and flat volume in Africa, Middle East & Eastern Europe.

HEINEKEN reaffirmed its previously given margin expansion guidance.

Further, the firm said that assuming spot rates as of October 23, the calculated positive translational impact on consolidated adjusted operating profit would be approximately 75 million euros, and 50 million euros at adjusted net profit.
