The FINANCIAL — IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), the world’s largest hotel group by number of rooms, and the investor group Ramirez Organization, announce the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Guadalajara Expo, one of 24 hotels in Mexico to feature the brand’s new sign as part of the Holiday Inn brand relaunch.
Located in Ave. Mariano Otero 2397, in the traditional shopping area of Guadalajara, the hotel is just steps from the Plaza del Sol Mall and the Guadalajara Expo and a short drive from the El Salto Industrial Zone.
The $12 million new-build hotel was built in a modern avant-garde design, notable for its large glass structure and large panoramic elevators that make it one of the most attractive buildings in the Expo Area. It has 152 spacious rooms, including 12 suites, 88 double rooms and 52 king rooms. The hotel also features a gym, covered parking and a heated pool.

The Holiday Inn brand relaunch is the largest relaunch in hospitality history, with more than 3,200 hotels around the world being updated – improving quality and driving consistency at Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels around the world. The global estate is expected to be relaunched by the end of 2010, and more than 1,100 hotels have been already been relaunched to date.

The Holiday Inn Express brand delivers a comfortable and smart environment with preferred guest upgrades to ensure a productive stay while traveling for business or leisure.
