The new-build hotel is located on Schermerhorn Street, near the famed Barclays Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music and Metro Tech Center, and adjacent to IHG’s EVEN Hotel Brooklyn, which is expected to open later this year. With its prime location in New York City’s fastest-growing borough, this new hotel is expected to become a top choice for business and leisure travelers visiting the Downtown Brooklyn area, according to IHG.
The Holiday Inn Brooklyn Downtown hotel was designed by internationally-acclaimed interior designer Andres Escobar and offers a relaxing and stylish atmosphere featuring ample natural light and design elements, including living green walls and an airy, glass-enclosed greenroom common area. The 14-story property features 245 guestrooms, including a penthouse suite offering sweeping views of Brooklyn through two-story floor-to-ceiling windows. The property features 2,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center, business center and spa inclusive of a heated indoor pool, hot tub, shower, sauna and steam room.

Led by Chef Tae Goo Kang, Brasserie Seoul offers a menu highlighting Korean and French flavors and cooking techniques to offer a unique dining experience to guests. Featured menu items include: Brasserie Seoul Surf & Turf, traditional Korean marinated short ribs and spicy king crab with kimchi salad, and Calamari Salad, served with a spicy Korean chili oil sauce, mesclun salad and sweet dressing.
