The FINANCIAL — On November 13 marks the inauguration of Hong Kong Airlines’ daily flight service between Hong Kong and Krabi, Thailand. To commemorate the official launch of this new route, Hong Kong Airlines has held celebrations at the Hong Kong International Airport.
Before departure, all passengers taking the inaugural flight were presented with a specially designed inaugural certificate and commemorative souvenirs as a gratitude to their support to Hong Kong Airlines. Upon touching down at the destination, the crew and passengers also received warm welcome from representatives of Hong Kong Airlines and Krabi International Airport, according to Hong Kong Airlines.
Mr. Li Dianchun, Commercial Director of Hong Kong Airlines, said, “The Krabi route has received overwhelming response from the public and widespread popularity among travellers since its tickets have been opened for sale. Coinciding with the upcoming winter season, we believe the new route will provide our passengers with more travel options for enjoying the gorgeous beaches and sunshine in this chilly winter.”
Hong Kong Airlines route network currently covers almost 30 cities across the Asia-Pacific region. With the launch of Krabi service, complemented by the existing six daily flights to Bangkok, Hong Kong Airlines will operate a total of 49 weekly frequent flights between Hong Kong and Thailand starting from today this year, further strengthening its route network in Southeast Asia.
