The FINANCIAL — Hong Kong’s unemployment rate rose slightly to 3.3% in the three-month period ended July and the city’s labour demand remains steady, the Census and Statistics Department said on August 18, according to Nasdaq.
The seasonally adjusted jobless rate rose from 3.2% in the April-June period, and was above the median 3.2% forecast from four economists surveyed earlier by The Wall Street Journal.
