The FINANCIAL — One year after the go-live of its award-winning mobile recruitment system, Allianz Group releases a new version of the global job search and online application tool, according to Allianz.
Before developing the tool, the Human Resources department of Allianz Group actually looked at how people really apply for jobs these days. “Today, not only customers, but also candidates are a hybrid”, said Christian Finckh, Chief Human Resources Officer Allianz Group. “They start their job search on the tablet, complete and submit their application on the desktop PC and track the status on the smartphone. As Allianz Group is highly committed to digitalization, the implementation of the new e-recruitment system is the right step at the right time,” Finckh added. As a consequence, candidates are instantly forwarded to either the version for smartphones or the one fully optimized for desktop PCs and tablets.
Just connect to your LinkedIn, Xing oder Facebook content
Since user behavior on smartphones and tablets is different compared to desktop PCs, candidates are now able to connect their profile with LinkedIn, Xing or Facebook. This way, job related data which is already stored on these platforms can be easily transported to the candidate’s profile. Before saving the imported entries users have to agree, of course.
Besides these obvious features, the new user interface comes along with additional optimizations such as a better search, new filter options and sharing possibilities – both for jobs and searches. Furthermore almost every job ad is linked to a corresponding video in which an Allianz Group colleague explains what her or his job is all about.
The new front end is based on HTML5 technology which makes it easily accessible for the crawlers of external job boards. It’s introduced both in an external and internal version, according to Allianz.
