The FINANCIAL — Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) will launch an enhanced suite of cutting edge travel management tools at the Global Business Travel Association’s (GBTA) annual convention from 21 to 24 August on booth 601.
Among those developments HRG will be showcasing is its newly improved Scenario Modelling Tool that enables clients to determine the most cost-effective way of gathering colleagues from across the world.
Delegates at the GBTA event in Denver will be given a demonstration of the enhanced version, which now includes data on 9,000 cities – giving users a wider range of meetings destinations to choose from – and an inbuilt CO2 calculator so that users can determine the greenest method of travel. The enhanced tool also includes information about which locations have video conferencing facilities, so that clients can choose to host their meetings in this way, where feasible.
An additional improvement is that the Scenario Modelling Tool is now standalone, meaning clients can access and use the tool by themselves from anywhere in the world.
HRG will also demonstrate further improvements to HRG i-Suite™. The product provides a personalized online travel assistant that delivers timely information and services to corporate travelers and travel managers. It delivers access to a range of tools from online booking, to reporting and traveler tracking, through one single point of access. At the GBTA Expo HRG will unveil how it is planning to extend mobile access to the i-Suite tool so it will be compatible with mobile web browsers, and devices including the i-Phone/i-Pad and Blackberry, by demonstrating a working application.
The GBTA annual convention is one of the premier events for the corporate travel industry in the US, attended by thousands of travel suppliers. This year’s convention is themed around ‘Elevating the Business of Travel’ and will include workshops, education sessions and demonstrations from some of the most influential individuals and forward-thinking organisations in the industry.
