Hyatt Place Lansing/Eastwood Towne Center Celebrates Official Opening

The FINANCIAL — Hyatt Hotels Corporation and CSM Lodging on May 6 announce the opening of Hyatt Place Lansing/Eastwood Towne Center, the first Hyatt Place hotel in the greater Lansing area.

“Hyatt Place was designed for a lifestyle, not a demographic and, as a result, we are confident that everyone from business travelers to students will appreciate the open, intuitive design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food and beverage availability,” said William Oman, General Manager.

Hyatt Place Lansing is conveniently located next to the Eastwood Towne Center, which offers a variety of shopping, dining and entertainment options. Guests are also minutes from Michigan State University and the Michigan State Capitol building, as well as downtown Lansing. Business travelers will appreciate the close proximity to major companies such as Consumer Energy, Emergent, IBM and Jackson National Life, as well as easy access to Capital Region International Airport (LAN), according to Hyatt.

Hyatt Place Lansing/Eastwood Towne Center is under the leadership of General Manager William Oman and Director of Sales Jennifer Moeckel. In his role, Oman is directly responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including overseeing the hotel’s 40 associates and ensuring guests encounter the purposeful service for which Hyatt Place is known. Moeckel is responsible for providing sales service and support to travelers and meeting planners frequenting the Lansing area.
