The FINANCIAL — MASON, Ohio, Aug 29, 2011 — Today, IAMS unveils two television commercials via its Facebook page that features brand new spokesdog Spike.
Spike is taking some time from his rock star life-style to help IAMS spread the word about the expansion of the IAMS Naturals family with two new recipes: Sensitive Naturals and Simple & Natural. These two new products join IAMS Healthy Naturals, launched in 2007, which offers four recipes for dogs and three for cats.
The IAMS Sensitive Naturals recipe is designed with ocean fish as the first ingredient and is for dogs with ingredient sensitivities, which affects up to 25 percent of all dogs. IAMS Simple & Natural is made for dogs with chicken as the first ingredient for 100 percent nutrition and zero percent filler. New IAMS Sensitive Naturals uses fish as the primary ingredient (haddock, cod and flounder) for a source of high-quality protein not typically found in dog food, whereas IAMS Simple & Natural has real chicken as its primary ingredient.
