The FINANCIAL — Azerbaijani delegation takes part in the high-level international forum within ‘One Belt – One Road’ strategy started on May 14, in Beijing.
The forum is attended by heads of state and government of 29 countries, as well as officials of state and private sectors, investors, and a number of international organisations of 110 countries, according to SOCAR.

Azerbaijani delegation is represented by the Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, Head of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Javid Gurbanov, Chairman of the State Committee for Standardisation, Metrology and Patent Ramiz Hasanov, Director-General of Baku International Sea Trade Port Taleh Ziyadov, and other officials.
As stated, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on SOCAR GPC project was signed within the forum. The MoU was signed by SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, Chairman of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Wang Yilin, and Head of the China Development Bank Hu Huaibang.
On May 15, SOCAR, CNPC, and Technip signed a Service Agreement on the Preliminary Detailed Design for the Gas Processing and Polyethylene Petrochemical Complex under the SOCAR GPC Project within One Belt -One Road forum.
