The FINANCIAL — In 2007, 11 million 108,1 thousand bottles (0,75 litres each) of wine were exported from Georgia. The Georgian wines were exported to 40 world countries during the period. BLACK SEA PRESS was told it at Samtrest Department.
Ukraine is leading among exporters of the Georgian wines. In 2007, it was exported 6 million 171,3 thousand bottles of wine (4,6 million litres) to Ukraine. Kazakhstan is the second, where 1 million 513,3 thousand bottles of wine (1,1 million litres) were exported, and Latvia is on the third place – 575,3 thousand bottles (431 thousand litres).
Brandy export from Georgia made 2 million 614,8 thousand bottles (0,5 litres each) in 2007. Brandy was exported to 16 world countries during the period.
Ukraine is leading again. In 2007, 1 million 758 thousand bottles of brandy (879 thousand litres) were exported to Ukraine. Azerbaijan is the next, where 502,2 thousand bottles of brandy (252 thousand litres) were exported, and Kazakhstan is the third – 112,2 thousand bottles (56 thousand litres).
In 2007, 94,2 thousand bottles of grape vodka Chacha (0,5 litres each) were exported from Georgia to 11 world countries.
Belarus is leading among exporters of grape vodka from Georgia. In 2007, 27,8 thousand bottles of chacha (13,9 thousand litres) were exported to Belarus. Kazakhstan is following – 22,4 thousand bottles of grape vodka (11,2 thousand litres) were exported to it, while Ukraine is the third – 20,6 thousand bottles (10,3 thousand litres).
1 million 729,7 thousand litres of wine materials were exported from Georgia in 2007 to 7 world countries.
The greatest volume of wine materials was sent to Azerbaijan – 843 thousand litres. Bulgaria is the next – 640 thousand litres, while Ukraine is the third – 109,6 thousand litres off wine materials.
