The FINANCIAL — According to estimations of Ukrainian agrarian confederation, during January-July period of 2009/10 MY, grain export from Ukraine will total 6 mln tonnes, including 2.6 mln tonnes of wheat, 2 mln tonnes of maize and 1.3 mln tonnes of barley.
In the premises, the carry-over stocks of the grains will reach the levels of 2.8 mln tonnes, 1.05 mln tonnes and 1.55 mln tonnes respectively, declared Sergey Stoyanov, the general director of Ukrainian agrarian confederation.
According to him, in 2009/10 MY, the general export volumes of Ukrainian grains will total 19.5-20 mln tonnes. At the same time, on the basis of available resources, the index would total 21.5-22 mln tonnes.
The balances were formed on the basis of data of grain stocks as of January 1, 2010, which totaled 17.6 mln tonnes without regard to private households, including 7.6 mln tonnes of wheat, 4 mln tonnes of maize and 4.1 mln tonnes of barley, and expert data of Ukrainian agrarian confederation.
