In 2010, Ukraine decreased agricultural products output by 1%

The FINANCIAL — In 2010, production volumes of agricultural commodities in all varieties of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine decreased by 1% compared to 2009, including agricultural enterprises – down 0.8%, farmings of the population – down 1.1%, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

According to the announcement, plant growing industry decreased overall production by 4.6%, animal breeding – up 4.5%.

"16 regions of Ukraine increased production volumes of agricultural commodities, including Odessa (up 8.7%), Cherkasy (up 5%), Chernivtsi (up 3.4%), Kherson (2.9%), Vinnytsia oblasts (up 2.8%)," AgriMarket informs.
