The FINANCIAL — According to the official statistics data, during 8 months of 2014/15 MY (August-March) Ukraine and Russia exported 27 thsd tonnes and 24.1 thsd tonnes of mustard seeds, respectively.
The reporting volumes significantly exceeded the results of the same periods during two previous seasons in both countries: Ukraine – 15 thsd tonnes and 20.8 thsd tonnes, Russia – 11 thsd tonnes and 11.6 thsd tonnes, respectively, according to APK Inform-Agency.
In the current season, Germany and Poland were the main countries-importers of the oilseed for both Ukraine and Russia: their share covered 51% and 12% in the structure of Ukrainian mustard seed exports, 48% and 31% – for Russian exports.
