The FINANCIAL — According to data of SE Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, in 2014 the share of grains reached 23.6% in the structure of general cargo shipment in the Ukrainian ports, i.e. grains are one fourth of the cargo volumes in the ports, declared Irina Ozip, Head of Informational Division at APK-Inform Agency, on March 4 during her presentation at the Middle East Grain Congress -2015, held in Egypt.
Also, the expert noted that in general, four sea ports: Yuzhny, Mykolayiv, Odesa and Illichevsk, covered 81.4% of the general volume of grain transshipment. In total, in 2014 twelve Ukrainian ports realized grain transshipment works, according to APK Inform-Agency.
In addition, the expert noted that sea transport is the main one to ensure grain exports from Ukraine.
