The FINANCIAL — Belarus plans to supply agricultural products on foreign markets at the sum of 2.1 bln USD in the current year, declared the Head of the Main department of foreign economic activity at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Alexei Bogdanov on November 8.
During 10 months of 2016, the export dynamics demonstrated very good results. In monetary terms, the exports reached 99.3% compared with the last year level, or nearly 1.9 bln USD, said A.Bogdanov.
According to him, in natural terms Belarus increased the export volumes of meat by 17%, dairy products – up 4%.
A.Bogdanov said that the work with African and Asian markets shows good results. Since October 5, the agreement on free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) and Vietnam started working. Belarus started supplying meat to Kenya and Niger, etc.
