The FINANCIAL — In 2017, in Ukraine the general production of agricultural products will total 244.1 bln UAH, a decrease of 4.1% compared with last year, declared the Director of the National Scientific Center “Institute of Agrarian Economics”, Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (NAAS), Yuri Lupenko.
According to scientists, the decline in agricultural production will develop due to adverse weather conditions, rising costs for material and technical resources, and the deficit of funds.
In 2017, the general production of plant growing goods will decrease by 5.1% compared with the figures in 2016, and total nearly 175.6 bln UAH. The general production of livestock goods will reach 68.5 bln UAH, down 1.6% compared with last year.
