In February, Ukraine exported nearly 20% of its flour production

The FINANCIAL — In February 2016, the production volumes of all types of flour in Ukraine totaled 160.8 thsd tonnes, including 26.56 thsd tonnes – for exports, an increase of 44% compared with the same period last year (18.4 thsd tonnes), declared the Adviser to the chairman of Agrarian Fund PJSC, Sergei Sakirkin.

According to him, the reporting export volumes formed almost 20% of the production index. Ukraine has never faced such ratio of flour exports to production, S.Sakirkin said.

Also, S.Sakirkin informed that during eight months of 2015/16 MY, Ukraine exported nearly 227 thsd tonnes of flour.
