In January-April, Azerbaijan increased wheat imports

The FINANCIAL — In January-April of 2015, the imports of wheat to Azerbaijan totaled 742.9 thsd tonnes, an increase of 1.8 times compared with the same period last year, informed the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, according to APK Inform.

According to statistics data, the total cost of imported wheat reached 174.255 mln USD (up 64.3%).

Also, in the reporting period Azerbaijan imported 39.3 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils at the sum of 24.302 mln USD (down 8.3%).
