In January-August, Ukraine decreased flour and sunflower oil production

The FINANCIAL — In January-August period of 2015, Ukrainian flour milling enterprises produced 1.283 mln tonnes of flour, a decrease of 12.6% compared with the same period in 2014, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on September 18.

At the same time, the production volumes in August 2015 totaled 172 thsd tonnes, down 0.9% compared with the same month last year, but up 8.4% compared with July 2015, according to APK-Inform.

In January-August of 2015, the production volumes of crude sunflower oil in Ukraine totaled 2.083 mln tonnes, down 25.2% compared with the same period in 2014.

In particular, in August 2015 the production volumes of crude sunflower oil reached 60.3 thsd tonnes, down 70.9% compared with July 2015, and down 66.3% compared with August 2014.
