In January-March, Kazakhstan exported 8.7 thsd tonnes of rice

The FINANCIAL — In January-March period of 2017, Kazakhstan exported 8.7 thsd tonnes of rice at the sum of 2.4 mln USD, declared the State Revenue Committee at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 11.

According to the announcement, Tajikistan and Ukraine became the main buyers of Kazakh rice – 5.2 thsd tonnes at 1.5 mln USD, and 2.4 thsd tonnes at 389.4 thsd USD.

Also, Kazakhstan supplied 621 tonnes of rice to Afghanistan at 186.9 thsd USD, Turkmenistan – 392 tonnes at 210.8 thsd USD, Mongolia – 78.5 tonnes at 43.9 thsd USD, according to APK-Inform.
