The FINANCIAL — In January 2016, the production rates of agricultural commodities in Ukraine reduced by 2.5% (-2.4% in January 2015). Decline in egg production caused more than 80% of the index decreasing, reported the press-service of Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine on February 22.
According to the announcement, the decrease in egg production totaled 20.8%. It is the largest falldown during all years of statistical observations.
Meanwhile, the production of meat and eggs showed low-scale reducing rates in terms of the positive dynamics of liveweight gain in cattle and poultry, and dairy cow productivity, which indicates about overcoming the crisis in production of such commodities.
In January-June of 2016, the changes of conditions of special regime of VAT payment, recovery of livestock production at agricultural enterprises which were damaged by the military conflict, trade and transit limitations imposed by the Russian Federation, will become the main developmental factors of agricultural production.
According to the Ministry, in January-June of 2016 the production of agricultural commodities will decrease by 1% (± 0.5 percentage points).
