The FINANCIAL — In November 2015, Ukraine exported the record volumes of soybeans and its by-products for the reporting month – 445.7 thsd tonnes of the oilseed, while in October 2015 the index reached 175.8 thsd tonnes, and in November 2014 – 386.7 thsd tonnes. Turkey became the key country-importer of the Ukrainian oilseed: 203.6 thsd tonnes, or 46% of the export volumes.
Also, in November the exports of soybean oil and meal/cake reached its absolute maximum. The export volumes of soybean oil totaled 14.3 thsd tonnes, up 4% compared with October, and up 30% compared with November 2014. China (8.9 thsd tonnes; 62%) and Poland (4.3 thsd tonnes; 30%) were the main buyers of the Ukrainian commodity, according to APK-Inform.
In November, the exports of soybean meal/cake reached 31.4 thsd tonnes, against 16.7 thsd tonnes in the previous month, and 11.6 thsd tonnes in November 2014. Belarus (18.3 thsd tonnes; 58%) and Turkey (5.5 thsd tonnes; 17%) were the largest buyers of Ukrainian soy meal/cake.
