The FINANCIAL — The Analytical center of CJSC RusAgroTrans estimates grain exports from Russia in October 2011 at the level of 3.4-3.5 mln tonnes (September 2011 – 3.65-3.7 mln tonnes), stated the analytical report of the company.
In particular, small ports will ship 1.5 mln tonnes of grains (in September – nearly 1.67 mln tonnes), deep-sea ports – 1.58 mln tonnes (in September – the same volume), with the increase of supply volumes through Tuapse, the Baltic ports and Ukraine – 180-200 thsd tonnes (in September – approximately 140 thsd tonnes), the other directions – nearly 260 thsd tonnes.
In October 2011, experts expect for the continued downturn trend of the ports activity in the Azov Sea and the Volga-Don direction.
According to analysts, in July-October 2011 exports of grains and flour in grain equivalent can total 13.3 mln tonnes, and by the end of 2011 can reach 18.1 mln tonnes.
Besides, it is noted that in October-December 2011 Russia exports 2.5 mln tonnes of grains only within frames of official tenders (since July – 4.2 mln tonnes).
The fall of grain export prices will be compensated by the growth of USD exchange rates, which assists keeping high profitability of export shipments of Russian grains (including VAT refund), informed the analytical report.
