In Poti Free Industrial Zone a sludge factory “Fargin” was opened for producing sports masks. Despite the pandemic, the factory was able to fully conduct the production process, provide appropriate machinery, find local staff, and train them.
The company sews masks that are used under the carting helmet, the masks will be exported to EU countries as Georgian products.
Polish investment in the textile factory was made up to 1 million GEL and 25 local people were employed.
The opening of the enterprise was attended by the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Malkhaz Toria, st. Poti Mayor Gocha Kurdghelia, Poti Free Industrial Zone General Director Davit Ebralidze and Tamar Sekhishvili, Head of Investment Attraction, Rafal Daniel Oltushik, Founder and Director of Fargan Ltd, and other invited guests.
The company plans to sew more sports accessories and increase the number of employees in the future.
