The FINANCIAL — According to the customs figures, in the first half of 2017 the exports of almost all types of Ukrainian agricultural products significantly increased in comparison with the same period last year, declared the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection on August 8.
In particular, the exports of live animals increased by nearly 60% (up 4.625 thsd tonnes), and the supplies of meat and edible meat offal – up 46%. Also, Ukraine increased the exports of dairy products by 22% (up 11.727 thsd tonnes), and poultry eggs (up 5.681 thsd tonnes), fats and oils of animal origin – up 140%, according to APK-Inform.
In addition, Ukraine managed to increase the foreign shipments of grain and cereal crops by 21%, flour-milling and groats products – up 37%, oilseeds – up 21%, straw and animal feed – up 100%, sunflower oil – up 29%, other vegetable or animal fats – up 183%.
