London Business School anounces World leaders in business and government discussion about innovation and entrepreneurship at London Business School’s Global Leadership Summit on 23 May.
George W Buckley, Chairman, President and Chief Executive of 3M; Sir Martin Sorrell, Founder and Chief Executive, WPP; António Horta-Osório, Chief Executive Officer, Lloyds Banking Group; David Sproul, Chief Executive Elect, Deloitte UK and Better Place founder Shai Agassi are among the speakers addressing delegates at this year’s Global Leadership Summit, which is sponsored by Deloitte.
Business, innovation and skills secretary Vince Cable will deliver a keynote address to the 650-strong business audience at the Summit. Dr Cable, who is also president of the Board of Trade, will focus his speech on the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in the future of the UK plc.
According to school, This year’s programme brings together chief executives from some of the world’s most innovative organisations, social entrepreneurs and leading London Business School academics, who will be addressing an audience of businesspeople, students and London Business School alumni.
Among the topics up for debate are:
- Do big companies innovate?
- How do you set the scene for innovation?
- Creating a culture of innovation: How important is the role of a CEO?
- Social innovation: For profit or social benefit?

Chaired by CNN anchor Charles Hodson, the day will include a number of panel sessions, and big ideas break-out sessions led by four London Business School faculty members, looking at customer focus and innovation, business design, building a culture of constant innovation, and management myths.
