The FINANCIAL — Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness Solutions, Inc. on July 9 announced the release of My Health Discovery, a new digital mobile health assessment designed to help individuals improve their health.
My Health Discovery features a simple, clean interface and short, easy-to-understand questions and was specifically designed to be used across platforms for maximum convenience and flexibility. The assessment addresses the full spectrum of health including body, mental health, vitality, and lifestyle. It is an engaging, easy-to-use tool that connects with users on a personal level and helps them easily identify behavior changes that can have a positive impact on their health, according to ohnson & Johnson.
The new assessment leverages the latest behavioral science research to fully engage and encourage individuals to take positive action steps towards improving health and achieving health goals. The assessment moves people from discovering opportunities to taking action with simple, action steps that are tailored to enhance the user experience.
My Health Discovery questions were informed by a predictive validity study to determine questions that were most predictive of health-related behavior. My Health Discovery also includes unique questions around purpose, motivation quality and mindfulness – leveraging recent research that demonstrates the importance of these factors to behavior change.
For health payers, the new assessment will encourage increased participation, and support the goals of engaging people to manage their health. User responses will be aggregated to provide unique and actionable data that can be used to better manage population health and provide insight into health challenges specific to member groups.
