The FINANCIAL — As of August 1, 2015, the registered carry-over stocks of grains and pulses in Kazakhstan totaled 4.542 mln tonnes, reported the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, wheat formed the major volumes of the general grain stocks – 4.077 mln tonnes, including 3.686 mln tonnes of milling wheat, 319 thsd tonnes of feed wheat, and 72.4 thsd tonnes of wheat for seeds. Maize stocks reached 25.9 thsd tonnes, rice – 12.5 thsd tonnes, barley – 317.6 thsd tonnes, rye – 34.2 thsd tonnes, oats – 44.9 thsd tonnes, buckwheat – 9.4 thsd tonnes, millet – 3.1 thsd tonnes, and mixture of spiked grain crops – 6.2 thsd tonnes, according to APK Inform.
