The FINANCIAL — As of December 1, 2015, the registered carry-over stocks of grains and pulses in Kazakhstan totaled 15.87 mln tonnes, reported the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In particular, peasant and farming households stored 3.206 mln tonnes of grains.
Wheat formed the major volumes of the general grain stocks – 13.188 mln tonnes, including 11.008 mln tonnes of milling wheat, 864.5 thsd tonnes of feed wheat, and 1.314 mln tonnes of wheat for seeds. Corn stocks reached 154.6 thsd tonnes, rice – 264.2 thsd tonnes, barley – 1.736 mln tonnes, rye – 48.1 thsd tonnes, oats – nearly 186.3 thsd tonnes, buckwheat – 31.2 thsd tonnes, millet – 19.8 thsd tonnes, and mixture of spiked grain crops – 168.6 thsd tonnes, according to APK-Inform.
