The FINANCIAL — As of June 1, 2015, the registered carry-over stocks of grains and pulses in Kazakhstan totaled 7.525 mln tonnes, reported the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In particular, peasant and farming households stored 1.079 mln tonnes of grains.
Wheat formed the major volumes of the general grain stocks – 6.56 mln tonnes, including 5.2 mln tonnes of milling wheat, 0.36 mln tonnes of feed wheat and 0.97 mln tonnes of wheat for seeds. Maize stocks reached 42.1 thsd tonnes, rice – 62.3 thsd tonnes, barley – 636.8 thsd tonnes, rye – nearly 33.7 thsd tonnes, oats – 88.7 thsd tonnes, buckwheat – 15 thsd tonnes, millet – nearly 5.8 thsd tonnes, and mixture of spiked grain crops – 58.3 thsd tonnes, according to APK Inform.
