The FINANCIAL — As of November 1, 2015, the registered carry-over stocks of grains and pulses in Kazakhstan totaled 17.75 mln tonnes, reported the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In particular, peasant and farming households stored 3.557 mln tonnes of grains.
Wheat formed the major volumes of the general grain stocks – 14.665 mln tonnes, including 12.624 mln tonnes of milling wheat, 916.6 thsd tonnes of feed wheat, and 1.124 mln tonnes of wheat for seeds. Corn stocks reached 94.7 thsd tonnes, rice – 312.6 thsd tonnes, barley – 2.095 mln tonnes, rye – 48.4 thsd tonnes, oats – nearly 203.5 thsd tonnes, buckwheat – 26.3 thsd tonnes, millet – 17.8 thsd tonnes, and mixture of spiked grain crops – 207.3 thsd tonnes, according to APK-Inform.
