The FINANCIAL — As of September 1, 2015, the registered carry-over stocks of grains and pulses in Kazakhstan totaled 4.813 mln tonnes, reported the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In particular, peasant and farming households stored 449.78 thsd tonnes of grains, according to APK Inform.
Wheat formed the major volumes of the general grain stocks – 4.089 mln tonnes, including 3.684 mln tonnes of milling wheat, 290 thsd tonnes of feed wheat, and 115.2 thsd tonnes of wheat for seeds. Corn stocks reached 21.8 thsd tonnes, rice – 9.08 thsd tonnes, barley – 515.7 thsd tonnes, rye – 49.7 thsd tonnes, oats – 62.1 thsd tonnes, buckwheat – 7.9 thsd tonnes, millet – 2.8 thsd tonnes, and mixture of spiked grain crops – 17.7 thsd tonnes.
