The FINANCIAL — In January-October period of 2015, Kazakhstan exported 1.011 mln tonnes of wheat and wheat-rye mixture to Uzbekistan, at the sum of 166.6 mln USD, an increase of 39.2% in terms of volume, and up 42.9% in value terms compared with the same period in 2014, declared the State revenue committee at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the statistical data excluding Russia and Belarus, during 10 months of 2015 Kazakhstan exported 2.4 mln tonnes of wheat at the sum of 475.2 mln USD, down 25.6% in terms of volume, and down 34.2% in value terms.
In the reporting period, the list of other significant countries-importers of Kazakh grains included Tajikistan – 681.7 thsd tonnes (up 18.6%) at the sum of 151.5 mln USD (up 10.2%); Kyrgyzstan – 254.3 thsd tonnes (down 26.7%) at the sum of 46 mln USD (down 39.1%); and Iran – 150.5 thsd tonnes (down 77.3%) at the sum of 35.4 mln USD (down 89.5%).
