Kazakhstan harvested over 11.7 mln tonnes of grains

The FINANCIAL — According to the operative data as of September 25, agricultural commodity producers harvested grains throughout the areas of 9.943 mln ha, or 67.4% of the planned areas, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In particular, North Kazakhstan oblast harvested grains throughout 2.094 mln ha (65.3%), Kostanay oblast – 2.375 mln ha (59.1%), Akmola oblast – 2.783 mln ha (67.1%).

As of the reporting date, the country produced 11.733 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 1.18 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.

As a reminder, on the same date last year Kazakhstan harvested 10.41 mln tonnes of grains throughout 9.43 mln ha (63%), with the average yield of 1.1 t/ha.
