Kazakhstan harvested over 13 mln tonnes of grains

The FINANCIAL — According to the operative data as of September 28, agricultural commodity producers harvested grains throughout the areas of 11.018 mln ha, or 74.7% of the planned areas, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In particular, North Kazakhstan oblast harvested grains throughout 2.381 mln ha (74.2%), Kostanay oblast – 2.605 mln ha (64.8%), Akmola oblast – 3.148 mln ha (75.9%).

As of the reporting date, the country produced 13.186 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 1.2 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.

As a reminder, on the same date last year Kazakhstan harvested 12.6 mln tonnes of grains throughout 10.89 mln ha (73%), with the average yield of 1.16 t/ha.
