Kazakhstan harvested over 18 mln tonnes of grains

The FINANCIAL — According to the operative data as of October 9, agricultural commodity producers harvested grains throughout the areas of 13.968 mln ha, or 94.8% of the planned areas, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In particular, North Kazakhstan oblast harvested grains throughout 3.123 mln ha (97.3%), Kostanay oblast – 3.565 mln ha (88.7%), Akmola oblast – 4.035 mln ha (97.3%).

As of the reporting date, the country produced 18.02 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 1.29 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.

As a reminder, on the same date last year Kazakhstan harvested 14.844 mln tonnes of grains throughout 12.272 mln ha (82.4%), with the average yield of 1.21 t/ha.
